WHERE:

At the beginning of the school year, moms sign up to host or help host a club meeting. Each meeting is held at a different location, whether it is at someone's home, the park, skating rink, food pantry, retirement center, etc. We try to stay in close proximity to Coppell.

COST:

There is no fee to join. However, there may be fees for craft supplies or field trip entrance fees, such as skating. The cost usually does not exceed $4.

HOST RESPONSIBILITIES:

If you agree to host a meeting, please sign up for a specific date. You can do this at the first CHSA meeting of the year, or by calling or e-mailing the Boys' or Girls' Club contact.. There are meeting ideas below; however, please know that your child and you can plan whatever suits you best. The suggestions are only to give ideas to those who want them. It is the host's responsibility to contact the skating rink, retirement center, etc. to arrange the meeting. The host usually provides a simple snack and drink for each girl.

If you would like to host a Boys' or Girls' Club meeting, we ask that you are a member of CHSA for six months. During this time, you may co-host a club with another mom.

SUGGESTED ACTIVITIES:

Roller Skating, ice skating, bowling, gymnastics, swimming, pottery crafts, seasonal crafts, Easter egg hunt, Valentine party, teddy bear tea, park play, skating around Andy Brown Park, decorating cookies, playing board games, visiting a retirement center, working in a food pantry.
