About CHSA Coppell Homeschool Association (CHSA) members are those families residing in the Coppell, Texas, area (including Lewisville, Flower Mound, Grapevine, Carrollton and Irving) who have decided to school one or more of their children at home. Current membership is around 50 families. CHSA provides a variety of activities and resources for these home schooling families such as field trips, P. E., girls and boys clubs, and a common bond of fellowship and support. CHSA is committed to a Christ-centered, biblically sound, home education and fellowship of believers. All members are required to read and agree with the CHSA Bylaws and Guidelines and the Statement of Faith. CHSA has a Committee that oversees and exists to provide general leadership to the various functions and activities sponsored by CHSA. All leaders in the CHSA must read, agree with, and sign the CHSA Bylaws and Guidelines and the Statement of Faith. This ensures that those who believe in the Bible and follow Jesus Christ lead CHSA. It is also expected that such leaders will make decisions that will be pleasing to God and in accordance with His Word. The Bylaws and Guidelines are reviewed yearly. Any revisions or amendments must be agreed upon by a 2/3 vote by the Committee. Committee members are voluntary positions and are all approved and appointed by the committee itself.
